Happy Halloween my Ghoulish Friends!!

Happy Halloween everybody!! Hope everyone has a Spooktacular day! I'm finishing up the final touches to our Halloween decor and will soon be getting in costume and getting the puppies in their costume! It's suppose to rain tonight and possible snow so I'm not sure how many trick or treaters we will get tonight but I can't wait to see everyone dressed up!
I have been working quickly to finish up my Halloween mini album. I forgot to print out our pumpkin photos though so all that's left is the pumpkins and then of course the costumes! But let me show you what I have so far!
The papers and stickers here are Echo Park Chillingsworth Manor.
These papers here are Teresa Collins Haunted Hallows.
These papers here are Making Memories Halloween. Love these Lego sets and I wish I had more from this collection.
DCWV Eek-A-Boo. You might notice that Snoopy looks a little beat up. A certain someone *cough*Jasmine*cough* thought it was hers to "play" with the first year we her. I think she still thinks it but is able to resist the urge to take it.
DCWV Eek-A-Boo. I LOVE candy corn. Especially the Starburst ones. If you haven't tried them out go forth and get some... NOW!!! You will thank me later for it!
Teresa Collins Haunted Hallows. I realized as I was scrapping this last night that I forgot to include "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!" But rest assured I do own the movie and it will be one of the movies I will be watching tonight while passing out candy.
That's it for now. I will probably have the rest of the layouts done by the end of the weekend. Also plan to get some more Disney wedding/honeymoon layouts done. So in theory I will soon have lots to share! Stay spooky my friends!
Until next time!!!!

Goodbye Sorcerer's Hat :(

Earlier this week it was announced that the Sorcerer's Hat in Hollywood Studios will officially be going away. It seems most people are happy about this news but I am sad to see it go. One thing is for sure though, things are going to get pretty interesting in Hollywood Studios. Because of this news, I felt the need to scrap a photo with the hat. Since I haven't printed all my photos, I only had the one to choose from.
The papers I used are all from the Simple Stories Say Cheese. I absolutely love this line and works so well for all Disney photos! I wanted to use papers that tied into the movie theme of Hollywood Studios.
I also loved this film strip. I punched out what was there and added my own little decor.
I knew this page needed some glitter to it. It's a little difficult to see, but all the stars I sprayed some sparkle to them.

Since I had the Say Cheese stuff I felt like scrapping another page.
This time I went with a wedding photo. It's a basic layout but I liked this picture and didn't want it to be cluttered with all sorts of stuff on the page.

Halloween is this Friday and I can't wait! It took me forever to figure out what I wanted to be but I finally figured it ou! Here is a little hint:
It's not much to go by I know. But that's the entire color of my costume and if you know me, that might be just enough of a hint to figure it out. :) I would love to hear what everyone else is going to be for Halloween!

Until next time!!

Spooktacular card fun!

Aloha gang!! Earlier today, about a half hour before I had to go to work actually, I got it in my head that I was going to make a card. Now I have never made a card before but have seen them and they always fascinate me. Well today was the day I was going to give it a shot.
The papers I used were all from DCWV Eek-a-Boo stack and the bats came from their Halloween/Fall cardstock stack.
I started out with an all white card and inked it with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire. I then went through and picked out the papers I wanted to use. When I started this all I knew was I wanted to stamp the card to the Sapphire color and I wanted bats on it. I love bats and I'm always trying to convince my husband to build me a bat house so I can raise a bat army. He won't allow it though :(
Anywho, after I picked out the background paper and border, I knew it was missing something. I looked at what I had brought with me from the basement and saw my DCWV Foiled Vellum had snuck into my pile. And then it clicked... I would make a shaker bubble! I cut out my circle and put the sequins down but still thought it was missing something
I saw the little "Having a Spooktacular Halloween" and knew right away that was the missing piece!
Up next was my little bat friends
I grabbed a sheet of the black glitter paper and traced them out from the die cut my mom had punched out for me.
Once it was all together, I decided it need just a tad bit more glitter.
There was already an orange line on the border but I decided to go over it with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Stickle Dry Marigold. And Voila! Everything had come together perfectly!! I'm pretty proud with how my first attempt at a card came out! Might do some layouts tonight when I get home from work. Haven't decided yet though. My little arms are still tired from peeling all those apples from yesterday. Still have 12 pounds waiting for me to do on Monday!
Until next time!!

Deep in the hundred acre woods...

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is doing well!! Finally was able to get some good photos of my most recent layouts so now I'm here to share! Been busy the last few days with the work but today I was busy turning this
Into this
Details on how this applesauce comes to life can be found on Michael's blog http://makeeverydayrecipesbetter.blogspot.com
It's not there yet but I will be sure to let you know when it is! Until then you can check out his other yummy recipes he has created in the past!
But any who on to my new layouts. As you might of guess from the title they are Winnie the Pooh themed. Originally my sister wasn't going to be allowed to attend the wedding due to Disneys rules. So to make it up to her, I told her to pick any meal any restaurant just the two of us. Her choice was immediately Crystal Palace. We decided on going for breakfast before the park opened so we could get pictures in front of the castle with no one around. That plan didn't turn out quite as well because it was Early Magic Hours the day we went but it was still pretty empty.
I have previously shared some of these layouts but here is a refresher

Here are my new layouts to share!
First up it Tigger! The papers are DCWV Citrus stack. I added a couple embellishments and of course his autograph!
Piglet is my favorite of the bunch! I started with a plain piece of cardstock and then layered it with different papers from one of the Disney stacks I own.
Last one for the day is the silly bear himself... Winnie the Pooh. This paper comes from the DCWV Citrus Stack. I added two pieces of red ribbon to tie in with his shirt.
That's it for now. I have some plans to get some stuff done tonight so I will be hopefully sharing that in the next day or two.
Until next time!!!!

My little corner of the world...

Well it's actually not a corner... It's in the middle of the room. I use to work on the dining room table but it was getting sloppy. I tried to keep it contained but it was proving to be an impossible task. Plus with the holidays coming up we it was time for the stuff to move. So it was down to the basement where I was originally suppose to be. With Michael's help, we were able to make it a little more cozy.
Here is an overview of the place. It's not much but with it being more organized, it makes me feel more crafty.
This is where I store my paper. Packs of paper live in the container and the loose sheets are somewhat organized into zip lock bags and put into this scrapbook tote.

Here is my desk. It looks like a mess but I promise it's an organized mess.

The left side is where I keep stuff that I use a lot. My scissors, punches, pens and all that fun stuff each have their own little containers. The green basket has all my stamping inks and glitters that go with them.
Here is the right side. I keep the pictures that I want to work on next over on this side. Also my sequins live in the circle container. Those 3 green basket carry all my little scraps. It is organized by DCWV scraps, white cardstock and color cardstock. Makes it easy to find this little pieces that you sometimes need! Those little jars keep all my buttons. Also have my trusty laptop to watch Netflix. Currently I'm rewatching Walking Dead. Then after that I think I shall rewatching Once Upon a Time. I'm being pressured to watch Doctor Who but it's a slow process in considering it.

Here are all my ribbons including all my fun new ones I bought on Friday! They usually live nicely stacked on the floor but not today!
With my move to the basement I decided it would be a good idea to get some of these drawers. I originally only got one but quickly decided that I would need two. This first one has my letters and all my Disney stuff.
This other one has my Hallowern stuff, Christmas stuff, Puppy stuff, extra mini books and misc. embellishments.
And finally some more little baskets that have an assortment things.
Like I said its not much but it works for now. It's nice to actually have my own little space to do as a please with. Can't wait to have an entire room so everything can be super organized and look nice.
As you might of noticed in some of the pictures there are some completed layouts that I have to share! Just waiting for the right settings so I can take some good pictures. It's been gloomy looking outside the last couple days.

Until next time!!!!

Fall Folks Festival part 2

Good morning world!! I didn't get a chance to update yesterday but have no fears I'm here today!
What little cuties!
So yesterday was the parade. Now Michael and I didn't stay the whole time because it's about two hours of tractors. But we did make it just in time to see my favorites... The steam engines!!
My opinion... They should make the whole parade steam engines.
While at the parade we met a little baby Ewok. He had to go home though because he was picking fights with a pit bull. You could actually hear the pit bull laughing at the little Ewok.
Also met a wolf! He howled and everything. I had my doubts but nope it's a real life wolf.
We wandered through town but didn't find anything exciting.
Did find a stream that went under a building.
We also went to the fairgrounds where all the tractors live. Sorry I forgot to take pictures of them during the day. However, we discovered the best pretzels ever! Sorry Auntie Anne but you have been dethroned.
Then we headed back where Michael made dinner. I think it is the earliest I have ever ate.
It was then getting dark and almost time for my favorite part of Fall Folks Festival. Just had to sit through some tractor pulls. Only one broke but he was still able to drive away. I like when they completely fall apart and have to be tow away.
Took some pictures and ate some curly fries while we waited.

Now that's my kind of tractor.
These people can drive around like they do in MASH! I know I would play MASH without the real blood and bombs and war and such.
Michael said this was his favorite tractor. He liked the color which was like burnt orange.
And now for my favorite part... The STEAM ENGINES!!!!!!!

I have videos but it won't let me load them directly from my phone. Michael was the official light the path when the steam engines were driving back to their spots. I managed to not catch on fire this year which was exciting. I was wearing my "bride" hoody that I had made so I was dodging embers as they came my direction.
Afterwards it was back to tractors so we decided to head back out. But not before picking up some more pretzels!
Best pretzel ever!

So that wraps up yesterday. I don't know if we have anything planned for today. Gotta make it home in time for Once a Upon a Time and Walking Dead.

Until next time!!
