Happy 1 year of scrapping!!

Hey there gang! One year ago today is when I posted my first layout to Facebook. And here is the first one.
It's amazing how far I have if I do say so myself with over 200 layouts done within the year. And I love seeing some of my older ones because I have come such a long way with my layout designs. I use fancy things now like my Cricut and layering several different papers!
So I do have a couple layouts to share today also. Here is the first one.
This is when we went to Kennedy Space Center. We had so much fun there! In the museum part they had of course a replica toilet that they have on the space ships. And of course I needed a picture of Michael sitting on it. For this layout I used October Afternoon Rocket Age. I absolutely love this collection and it works so perfectly our pictures from Kennedy Space Center.
And since today is such a special occasion I shall share another layout!
For this I used Simple Stories Say Cheese and Say Cheese II.  And yes in that photo is little old me at the age of 8 with my giant Minnie. It was my prize Possession from my very first trip to Disney World. And in fact, that Minnie is still around.
And as a matter of fact I shall be reunited with her in September!
So that's it for now folks! Until next time!!!!

A day late Flashback Friday

So I completely forgot to post these yesterday so we shal pretend that's it's still Flashback Friday. Also happy late 60th anniversary to Disneyland!!

I have been wanting to scrap these photos for quite some time but I didn't know if any other copies existed so I kept putting it off. I thought I was told before that they were the only copies but I finally asked and discovered that there was another set and the negatives still existed. So I went ahead and made up a couple layouts. And since yesterday was the official 60th anniversary of Disneyland, I decided to pick a couple of celebratory pictures from Disney World. And now for my first layout.
From when the Castle became a giant Birthday cake!! Now not everyone is a big fan of the birthday cake, in fact most people hated it and many people canceled wedding photo shoots because of it. However, at the young age of 8, I was in awe. And it being my first time seeing the castle, I thought it was fantastic. The papers and embellishments all came from my Scraptastic kit, Celebration. Naturally something called Cellebration is perfect for something as big as a 25th anniversary and a castle covered as a birthday cake! And in case you were curious, you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be there in 2021 for the 50th anniversary!
I also got a second layout done from my very first trip in 1997.
This is my sister and I meeting Sleeping Beauty for the first time. Back in the day, she used to meet in her blue dress, which I happened to like much better then her pink one she meets in now. For this layout I used Simple a Stories Enchanted. I thought a collection made for princesses would be perfect for meeting a princess!
Anywho so I suppose I should get back to work now. Gotta do something every once and a while!
Until next time!!

July Stack-a-Holic challenge.

Good morning everyone! After a very slow scrapping month in June, I'm back and better then ever! I have been having so much fun scrapping my little heart away and hopefully that momentum will continue.
Before I get to the layout, has everyone seen the pictures of Shanghai Disneyland? Omg it looks amazing!! It even has its own Pirate themed area! All I know is that's once it opens I need go get to Shanghai at some point in my life!
Apeaking of Disney, we are just two months away from San Antonion/ Disneyland adventure! Just need to make some reservations and buy photo pass and we will be all set! Plus I really need to buy the supplies I need to make this really cool project as a souviner from Disney.
Anywho on to business. This month I once again participated in DCWV stack a holic sketch challenge. And here is the sketch this month.
At first I wasn't sure which direction I wanted to go with. I love the sketch but didn't know what pictures I wanted to use. But then the other day it started to come together. I was going through pictures thing to find something else when I found my inspiration. And here is my layout.
A couple weeks ago, I saw this paper and just knew it would be perfect for all of our adventures we take into the woods. This stack is called DCWV Green Stack. I absolutely love it and can't wait to use it with my other pictures of woodland creatures.
And you see those little deer on the top? I made those using my Cricut machine. I can't believe I am have gone this long without using it. Now it seems like I use it for every layout! I can't wait to buy more cartridges for it. I already have a huge list written up with ones I want!
So that's it for today. Not sure if I will get any scrapping done because I do have to go to work at some point. But I will be back here for sure to show you wonderful people more layouts that I have been working on!
Until next time!!
