Winter fun

Hey there gang! It's still snowing here and boy do I love it! We have about 6 inches from the last storm and it's suppose to snow again on Sunday so we shall see! The puppies though don't like the cold. In fact they think it's torture that I drag them out far so they are in the snow. But they look so adorable out there.
I used two Scraptastic kits. The December kit, It's the Most Wonderful Time and the January kit Sweater Weather. I love how these two kits go together so well! For inspiration I used the January sketch on the Scraptastic blog.
Here I used the Scraptastic Club September This Girl add on kit. I don't have them main kit but I kind of wished I order it after seeing the add on kit in person. The title came from my stash. I can't believe I hadn't scrapped those photo because I love how the castle looks at night.
The last layout I'm sharing today is from the a Flower and Garden food booths. We ended up eating around the world and it was amazing! The first booth we ate at was Urban Farm Eats. This was the Tilapia dusted with Ghost Pepper. Oh my goodness this was amazing! This was our favorite thing to eat out of everything we tried. I had been wanting to scrap my food ohotos for a while but I was having a hard time finding papers that I liked for it. Something clicked though when I saw these papers. This is Pink Paislee London Market. The letters came from my stash. I wish I had taken pictures of the menu so I did the next best thing by writing the menu out.
So that's it for now. I'm so close to my goal of 20 layouts for the month of January. I'm sitting at 19 right now. But I have one already in the making so piece of cake!
Until next time!!

Hello hello!

Aloha everyone! Hope everyone is having a fantastic start of the week. I know I have been super busy the last couple days! Finally got the Christmas stuff down and put into the storage unit, decided to rearrange the living room and even did some major grocery shopping! Oh yeah and also rearranged my scrapping area! Now that the Christmas totes were out of the basement I decided it was time to buy a shelving unit for my stuff because my little table was becoming way to crowded! Here is the new and approved area!
I still have the buttons to sort through and a little more papers to organize but for the most part it's complete!
I haven't had a chance to go down, mainly because it was just last night I did but have no fears... I have some layouts to share that I did last week!
The first one is from Kennedy Space Center. Michael loves space so I wanted to make sure we had a chance to go there. While on one of the tours, I saw the sign that said everything past the fence was restricted area. Of course our little hands had to be Rebels and go into this area! And naturally we had to catch on camera to have photo proof that Michael hands were in a restricted area. Have no fears I have photos of my little also going into this area. I used the line October Afternoon Rocket Age. This was something my mom recently gave me and as soon as I saw this, I knew that this line was perfect for all my KSC photos!
Here is a favorite layout of mine. I used my September Scraptastic Kit We Will Rock You. When I saw the star on the paper on the big circle, I knew right away I wanted my title to be about wishing upon a star.

For my last layout I'm gonna show today it's going to be of my little critters Jasmine and Belle. They absolutely love being in a blanket and of course look just simple adorable while lounging around. This was my January Scraptastic Kit Sweater Weather that I used for this layout.
That's it for now. I do have a few more layouts to share within the next couple days. And sometime soon I will get down in my scrap area and create some layouts!
Until next time!!!!

All around Disney!

Good morning!! I couldn't think of a cathey title... Epic fail. But I do have some more Disney layouts to share. I told you the other day that my goal for this is to get 200 layouts done. And so far I'm up to 13. Busy little bumble bee I have been!  But of course I won't share them all today. Gotta keep some squirreled away in case I start to slack off I can still look impressive!
This first one is of course about the amazing game Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom. The paper I used is... The map of the game. So fancy! I took some off the cards that we had triples of and added them to the layout as well. Then a key that does nothing and behind that key is a secret journaling envelope. To sum up the journaling, since I don't have it in front of me, is how we started playing because we weren't use to the crowds off Spring Break. So I figured we could give this game a shot. Never did I imagine that we would become obsessed with it! Seriously it's an awesome game and you should really give it a try next time your at Walt Disney World.
Seeing everyone working on Christmas stuff of course made me want to work on one. But I don't have any pictures printed out for Christmas so I came up with a different route,  Disney's Days of Christmas store! Everything on this page came from my December Scraptastic Kit, It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.
Next up we move on over to Animal Kingdom! This of course is the Simple Stories Say Cheese line. Can't wait for Say Cheese part 2 to come out!!!
For my final layout we head on over to Sci Fi Dine In Theater located in Hollywood Studios formally known as MGM. Love the food here and you get to sit in these awesome cars and watch old movie clips! In fact, Michael and I loved this place so much that we returned to eat here again later in the week! The waiter was kind enough to bring us a cupcake which of course was delicious! I will say this about Disney, they really know how to make you feel special for whatever you are celebrating. Plenty of people go there to celebrate and yet they go out of their way to make things special! Go Disney!! Anywho, the papers and embellishments came from the August Scraptastic Kit, Boys of Summer.
That's it for now! Have no fears I shall be back soon though! Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!
Until next time!!

Try the grey stuff it's delicious...

Don't believe me ask the dishes!! Like I said before, for our wedding dinner we ate at Be Our Guest. The inside was beautiful. It looked just like the inside of Beast's castle. Disney did an amazing job with the design.
As soon as I walked in, I was mesmerized. And therefore took about a million photos of the inside. Once we were done eating we were allowed to wak around to the other two rooms.
This is the ballroom, which was where we ate. This room was beyond words amazing. All that was missing was Belle and the Beast dancing. Though the Beast did walk through a few times. I used DCWV Old World for this layout.
This was the Rose Gallery. I really wanted that tapestry which was available in one of the gift shops. However it was a little on the pricy side. Again the papers I used were DCWV Old World
The final room is of course the West Wing. Every so often the portraitwould quickly flash and transform into the Beast. However I was unable to get a good picture of it happen. This room also had the enchanted rose in it which was amazing of course! These papers of course were DCWV Old World.
That's it for sharing tonight. Have no fears though I still have plenty more layouts to share. I told you I have been a busy little bumble bee the last couple days. But I will save those for another day.
Until next time!!

January Stack-a-Holic Challenge

Good morning from the first post of 2015!! Get ready for a fun filled year because as of right now I have 6, that's right 6, layouts ready to be shared with all you wonderful people! Today however I'm only going to be sharing one. That just means I will be back some time very soon to share some more! Hope everyone is having a fantastic start to this new year and everyone's resolutions are going so far so good. I have a few goals that are so far so good. One of them being scrapping. Total for the year I want to get 200 layouts done. So far I'm up till 3... So only 197 more layouts to go!
Back to today's layout.  Today's layout I used the sketch challenge from DCWV.
This one came pretty quickly once I picked out my photos. I found a couple of pictures from Epcot that I really liked.
The main papers I used came from DCWV Citrus Stack. I also used DCWV Wooden Paper and Foiled Vellum Stacks. I picked some ribbons that matched the balloons in the pictures. And then of course I added my own Mickey balloons to the layout.
That's it for today! Like I said I have plenty more layouts to share and have more that I will get done this week.
Until next time!!
